Professional Experience & Accomplishments

Our CEO Duane DeLarco, provides 32 years’ experience in commercial building design, alternative energy system design, implementation, infrastructure development and site management for commercial and utility scale projects. His background also includes:

  •  Invited on 2 occasions to advise representatives from United States House and Senate. Visit #1 was for the purpose of speaking on United States electric grid security and system hardening. Visit #2 was for the purpose of speaking on the benefits of implementing Micro grid System technology for east and west coast System efficiency and security.

  •  Authored white papers for product development for both Canadian Solar Inc. for their AC Solar Modules and Enphase Energy Inc. for their 3-Phase Micro-Inverters.

  • Authored the report advising the Bush Administration to decline funding Solyndra Corporation. The report predicted the companies bankruptcy due to a bad price model, inaccurate product production claims and obvious misallocation of corporate funding. Unfortunately a number of years later Solyndra was provided with $535 million in federal loan guarantees from the Obama administration which turned into a loss to the United States taxpayers when Solyndra declared bankruptcy in 2011.

  • Over 30 years’ experience working with planning and zone departments and officials to acquire permitting.

  • Over 30 years of architectural design and drafting experience manually, with CAD, Desktop and Architectural Chief with over 125 building and system designs completed to date.

  • 14 years’ experience in residential, commercial and utility PV design and development.

  • Designed the 5 MW PV system for the American Indian Institute for Innovation Campus

  • Designed the 3 MW Smart-Grid Electrical Power Plant for Aeroport International- Haiti Toussaint l’Ouverture in Port au Prince, Haiti. System design utilized PV Solar as the 1st tier power with 2 stage battery back-up with 2 MW Caterpillar back-up generators system.

We assembled a core team for Aeroport International- Haiti Toussaint l’Ouverture project (John Skibinski, Glenn Guy, Burt Guy, Steve L. Kanetzky, P.E., LEED AP) whose members have from 25 to 42 years of individual expertise and a combined total of 152 years of experience in the fields of Architectural Design, Electrical Engineering, Power Conversion, Control & Distribution Engineering, Power Plant, Water/Waste Water and General Commercial Construction. The Company Principals have 32 years of design & construction experience and combined 30 years’ experience in power and construction projects. The team has expertise in site development and over 2 decades in site management. Specializing in Multi-Tier Smart Grid Architecture, The group’s goal was to help revolutionize smart grid technology by implementing and deploying smart grid strategies that improve operational efficiencies, produce greater reliability and optimize asset utilization.
